The Copper Hen is a homegrown restaurant and bar, owned by Danielle & Chris Bjorling, that has quickly become a favorite restaurant amongst Minneapolis res-idents. Upon experiencing great success, Element was selected to find additional space for the restaurant to open a second location to be called The Copper Cow. After searching throughout the Twin Cities, Element found a vacant Dairy Queen in Minnetonka that met the owner’s requirements but wouldn’t require a large renovation. Element worked closely with the owners throughout the acquisition, due diligence, and financing processes. The building was purchased and successfully renovated into The Copper Cow. The new space features a vaulted ceiling, an outdoor fireplace, and windows that flip up to connect the indoors and the outdoors. Additionally, the drive-through portion of the old building is being used as a way for customers to pick up the artisan burgers & specialty malts.
