Lifelong Wealth Advisors (LLW) a growing Twin Cities wealth management firm serving individuals, families, and business owners, teamed up with Element in the development of a new long-term home in Arden Hills to provide a more inviting and accessible office for its employees and clientele. As LLW continued to grow, the firm sought a permanent office solution that would better serve its clients, support its team, and reflect its long-term vision.
Role:
Element partnered with Lifelong Wealth Advisors from initial planning through project completion, helping guide every stage of the process—from site selection and acquisition to development and project management.
Opportunity & Challenges:
Lifelong Wealth Advisors had outgrown its existing downtown office and was evaluating how a new location could improve accessibility, enhance the client experience, and support future growth. The challenge was identifying the right site, managing a complex development process, and delivering a highly customized office environment while balancing evolving design requirements, project timelines, and budget considerations.
Approach:
Element conducted a comprehensive assessment of the firm's space needs and growth objectives before helping identify and acquire a suburban development site in Arden Hills. Acting as a strategic advisor throughout the process, Element coordinated the project team, supported key decision-making, and provided ongoing project management to ensure the final product aligned with the firm's operational goals and client-focused vision.
Guided by LLW's vision, U+B Architects crafted a space that not only serves as a statement for clients but also optimizes the client experience and enhances long-term employee and client satisfaction. Navigating ever-changing design requirements, the project demanded a flexible design and construction approach. Through effective communication with the general contractor, Carlson LaVine, and thoughtful planning and execution, challenges were overcome to deliver a successful project adhering to all necessary regulations.
Results:
Completed in Spring 2022, the new single-story office is a testament to LLW's client-centric approach. It offers enhanced space efficiency with features like spacious executive offices, conference and huddle rooms, a welcoming reception area, a production room, an outdoor patio with a two-way fireplace, and a state-of-the-art recreation room featuring a golf simulator, a unique amenity that sets the space apart and fosters a fun, inviting atmosphere for both employees and clients.
