
Kate brings over two decades of experience as a landscape architect, combining technical expertise with a deep commitment to community-driven development. Her career spans consulting, public agency leadership, teaching, and managing large-scale riverfront redevelopment, including transformative work with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.
Previously serving as a Director at TLALLI Collaborative, Kate worked at the intersection of community, government, and real estate, guiding projects that center people, place, and long-term sustainability. She excels at navigating complex implementation processes, ensuring community visions are not only heard, but thoughtfully realized.
Kate’s approach is grounded in deep listening, relationship-building, and disciplined project management. She brings clarity and care to complex projects, creating innovative, impactful solutions that align seamlessly with Element’s mission of shaping inspiring, inclusive spaces, and is excited to continue expanding her role in development and real estate.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. She loves when her passions for gardening and urban greening intersect with her work and appreciates fresh, local food from urban agriculture and farmers markets.
