Happy grand opening to Nikki Hedren and Barre3 Minneapolis!
Barre3’s grand opening is today! Located on the ground floor of the Second & Second building at 120 N 2nd Street, the full-body balanced workout studio joins prominent retailers West Elm, Kindbody, and Circa Lighting in the heart of the North Loop. Element represented the landlord and Steve Dombrovski with Dombrovski Properties represented the tenant.
Barre3's full-body balanced workouts combine strength conditioning, cardio, and mindfulness, leaving individuals feeling balanced in body and empowered from within. The company also offers virtual workouts through their website and app. The new studio will have space for 24 stations, along with a common area, multiple restrooms, and a shower room. The Barre3 Minneapolis team have been using Element’s listing at Colonial Warehouse as a swing space while the studio was being built out.
Nikki Hedren, who discovered Barre3 in Washington D.C. in 2014, will own and operate the new location. After moving back to Minneapolis during the pandemic, Nikki began dreaming of bringing Barre3 to the area. She was looking for the best opportunity in the North Loop for her studio until the perfect fit at Second & Second came along; she signed the lease last April. Barre3 currently has over 170 studios across the United States and services over 68,000 studio clients per month.
The North Loop has seen tremendous energy and momentum over the past year. The West Hotel will open just down the block from the Barre3 location, and Chef David Fhima’s new restaurant project Maison Margaux debuts tomorrow. Expect a very lively Summer in the North Loop, with plenty of foot traffic and buzzy activity.
We are thrilled for Nikki and her new Barre3 studio. She’s a passionate, infectious member of the community and we loved working with her; we are so lucky to have played a small part in helping her woman-owned, small business dream come to fruition.
Be sure to check out the new studio in the North Loop.
